8:00 a.m. What College Strength Coaches Look for with Incoming Freshman.

9:00 a.m. Post-Game Recovery

- Dr. Frank Benedetto: DPT

Coaches and athletes can improve the health and performance by planning recovery in just as

much detail and intensity as they plan their training. Session will cover the fundamentals of

science based recovery techniques that athletes of all sports can benefit from.

10:00 a.m. Olympic Weightlifting: Progressions & Modifications for the High School Athlete

-Andrew Moore: CSCS, USAW

This hands on lecture will go over how to implement the use of the Olympic lifts with high school

athletes. Learn proper progressions and modifications for athletes with limitations.

11:00 a.m. Overview of the Recruiting Process: Perspective of Current & Former Athletes

- Keirsten Sires of Locker Room Talk

Break down the recruiting process to its core in order to help prospective collegiate athletes and

their families navigate through the process.

12:00 p.m. Difference Between Working Out and Training: Creating a Long-Term

Approach to Athletic Development.

-Joseph Lopez: CSCS, NSCA NJ State Director

Build a strength and conditioning program from the ground up based on each athlete’s sport and

level of proficiency.

1:00 p.m. Recognition and Early Management of Concussions

-Dr. John Kulin: DO, FACEP

-Dr. George Peters: Ed.D

Science-based lecture on how to identify and treat concussive symptoms
