Strength Performance Network

Strong Rock Christian School, a private, Christian K-12 school system in Locust Grove, GA (just south of Atlanta), is seeking 2 qualified applicants for a volunteer summer internship. SRCS is a member of the GHSA and will participate in Class A. Interns will receive experience in a highly competitive high school environment, all facets of strength and conditioning, as well as future recommendation toward employment. This is an unpaid position.  A full Internship Curriculum will maximize learning opportunities with tremendous practical experience.

Preferred Qualifications: Currently pursuing bachelors/masters in exercise science or related field, certified in CPR/AED/First Aid, adapt to demanding schedule, and a strong desire to become a Strength and Conditioning Coach. At the end of the semester long internship volunteers will have a better understanding of program design, have the potential to earn recommendations for future opportunities, and if applicable receive college credit. Interested candidates should submit a resume, cover letter (1 page max) and a minimum of 3 professional references through an email subject title “Name, S&C Internship” to Strength & Conditioning Coach Tobias Jacobi CSCS, RSCC*D, USAW-SP, TPI-L1, USAT&F-L1 at tjacobi@strong-rock.com
