Graduate Assistant Position- The University of West Alabama

West Alabama (D-II):  The University of West Alabama Department of Strength & Conditioning is currently seeking applicants for a Graduate Assistant position beginning Fall Semester 2017.  Compensation for this position will be provided in the form of full time graduate level tuition, experience in coaching collegiate level athletes, UWA gear, ect..  Applicants must be CPR/First Aid certified, hold a Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science or a health related field, and either hold or pursuing certification through the NSCA, CSCCA, or USAW.  Prior experience in teaching and coaching Olympic and basic strength exercises, along with experience in writing programs for sport performance is preferred.   Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Design and implementation of sport-specific training programs for 2-4 assigned sports, testing and evaluation, communication with sport coaches and athletic training staff, as well as other duties as assigned by the Director of Strength and Conditioning.
