The University of Louisiana at Monroe
Position Announcement: Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach (3 positions) at The University of Louisiana at Monroe. Duties and Responsibilities: The University of Louisiana at Monroe is accepting applications for the position of Graduate Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach (GASCC). The GASCC responsibilities will include assisting the Strength and Conditioning staff with the development and implementation of strength and conditioning programs for all 16 ULM intercollegiate athletic programs. Daily duties to include mentoring student-athletes during training sessions, set-up/breakdown of training drills/tests, proper maintenance of equipment and other duties as assigned. Qualification Requirements: Must meet all requirements and be admitted to the ULM Graduate School. Bachelor’s degree in Exercise Science is preferred. Prior intercollegiate strength and conditioning coaching and/or playing experience is preferred. SCCC and/or USAW certification is also preferred. Graduate Assistants at ULM receive full tuition waiver and a monthly stipend. Stanford University is accepting applications for Intern Sports Performance
Coaches to contribute exclusively to the Football program. This
unpaid opportunity provides experience assisting the Football Sports
Performance Coordinator implement an individualized, comprehensive injury
prevention and performance enhancement program specific to Football.
Potential candidates must possess an enthusiastic spirit, strong character and
demonstrate effective organization and communication skills. Required
qualifications include achievement or current pursuit of a Bachelor’s Degree in
Exercise Science or related course of study in addition to certification in
CPR/AED. Preferred qualifications include certification as SCCC, CSCS, or
USAW with previous experience as a collegiate athlete or intern coach. This
internship is expected to begin no later than Monday, June 25, 2012 .
Potential candidates must be able to commit to a 6-month time period. Based
on evaluation, internship can extend up to a year.

FAST PHX and Scottsdale are now hiring for (4) paid/unpaid internships. These internships are put in place for inspiring strength and conditioning coaches to get hands-on training and to get a working knowledge of the ins and outs of running a strength and conditioning program. There are two positions available. This is a highly competitive and demanding internship. The daily responsibilities will include:

Interns will be required to participate in groups, observe coaches, and assist in coaching as part of their training. All participants will have an opportunity for positions within the Velocity Sports Performance network.
