Athletic Edge Sports in Bradenton Florida is now accepting applications for Paid Internships for our NFL Combine Training Program. This is a 2.5 month position running from January through mid-March.

Successful candidates will assist with the implementation of warm-up, strength training, conditioning, speed/agility, flexibility and nutritional program for athletes preparing for the 2011 NFL Combine.

Required Qualifications: Strong work ethic; highly motivated; experienced interaction with elite athletes, minimum senior status in a Bachelor's Degree program geared toward Exercise Physiology or a related field; CPR/AED


Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors Degree in Exercise Physiology or related field/relevant experience; Experience in college strength and conditioning or football playing experience; 1 certification- CSCS, USAW, SCCC.

Davidson College’s Department of Strength & Conditioning is currently accepting applications for volunteer strength and conditioning interns during the 2010/2011 academic semesters. Successful candidates will assist with the implementation of warm-up, strength training, conditioning, speed/agility, flexibility and recovery workouts for all Davidson College athletic teams. Additional responsibilities will include weight room supervision, daily upkeep and maintenance of equipment, successful completion of the internship academic curriculum and any other duties assigned by the Strength & Conditioning staff. Ideal candidates will have a bachelor’s degree or be in the last semester of coursework for undergraduate degree in exercise physiology or related field of study. We are seeking candidates who are highly motivated and wish to pursue a career in the field of collegiate strength and conditioning. Responsibilities include: assisting with the supervision and training of Limestone’s 22 Division II intercollegiate athletic programs; assisting with daily administrative and maintenance duties; completion of various educational assignments during the internship are required. Qualifications include: strong work ethic; punctuality; enthusiasm; desire to further one’s career in the field of Strength & Conditioning. Preferred qualifications include: pursuing Bachelors or Masters Degree in Physical Education, Exercise Science or related field; NSCA-CPT, CSCS or USAW certifications; CPR certification and coaching experience. Arizona State University Sports Performance Internship

Job Description:
Assist the ASU Sports Performance staff in the day-to-day operations of the Arizona State University varsity weight rooms. Duties will include but are not limited to; assist the sports performance staff in the implementation of strength and conditioning programs for 21 varsity sports, instruction of safe and proper execution of all facets of athletic development, and assist in the maintenance and upkeep of the facility.

Qualifications:
Pursuing Bachelors in exercise science or a related field. Experience in a collegiate setting, and a strong desire to become a strength and conditioning coach at the collegiate level. Certification or working towards certifications with the NSCA-CSCS, CSCCa, and/or USAW.

Compensation:
This is an unpaid position.
Internship credit may be obtained for current degree program enrolled in.

STANFORD UNIVERSITY (Stanford, CA), is seeking qualified applicants for a Sports Performance Internship with Olympic sports. This is an unpaid internship that will begin in January 2011 and end in June 2011. Internship dates coincide with most semester long programs. Internship responsibilities include: assisting the Sports Performance staff with the implementation of strength and conditioning, speed, agility, flexibility, mobility and nutritional programs. Additional duties include, but are not limited to: monitoring the Sports Performance facilities and aiding the Sport Performance staff in various aspects of coaching, testing and evaluation. Interns are expected to stay for the entire duration of the internships unless other arrangements have been made. Applicants that require internship for completion of a degree are preferred. The Ohio State University is accepting applications for Summer Football Strength and Conditioning Internships. This is a highly competitive and demanding internship that starts on May 14 and concludes at the end of summer training around July 23. The daily responsibilities include:



1. Assisting with implentation and supervision of the summer strength training and conditioning program for the football team.

2. Attending to the daily maintenance of the Woody Hayes Athletic Center strength and conditioning complex.

3. Participation in weekly professional development projects and round-table discussions.

My original question was wondering if anyone who had posted their resume or interest on this site had resulted in a job........
