Good to hear from you Hampo.  Hope that the year at RFC went well for you and you get the opportunity to move on and expand.  Let me know when you are next in Sydney mate.

Wow, would have been a great experience seeing the USC campus.

Myself, I'm happy to go wherever there is a quality oppurtunity to learn off great coaches, I'm setting up a few things in Both Boston and Philadelphia with some great coaches and also fingers crossed for an oppurtunity down Florida. Of course not banking on it but definietly trying to give myself the best oppurtunity.

I just saw the new ME Bank Centre on AFL insider last night (Great Show), looks very impressive. I noticed the electronic programs, how are you finding that system? seems like a great idea just wasn't sure about the way it was organised. Looks like a quaility centre though, enjoying it?

Yeah I have been reaching out to a few people as you said, just asking questions, love chatting to other people in this field!

Thanks for your time mate, keep in touch.

Alex,

I thought that may be the case with AWF course, I have career goals in the US so I think I will hold off an complete the US Weightlifitng certificate.

Wowee, you are definietly getting after it, it's great to see. I did see those positions advertised on the VIS website, I have a mate who gained a position aswell but unsure who he will be working with.

I'm just completing the Exercise Science degree through Victoria Univeristy then will undertake a Masters in Strength & Conditioning through ECU. As I said I have goals in the states which I have been organizing some great positions and networking with some quality people so hopefully have a couple of great oppurtunities when I make it over.

You're making me feel bad with all the internships you have gained over here! I haven't really been actively looking over here, been too focused on the States, is there much oppurtunity to undertake internships/traineeships in Victoria??

I hear what you're saying about the funds, but i suppose it comes with the territory to begin with while we get dirty in the trenches. I work with a local senior and U/17 soccer side (I'm from an AFL background so been very different) and just got offered a position at a local private school working with the U/18 and U/15 girls soccer teams. Sort of become a soccer conditioning expert in my area.

Thanks for replying mate, appreciated.
