WC Viking Football Update

Friday night we beat Jim Hill HS (Jackson, MS) 16-9 to claim 3rd place in our region.  We now travel to Olive Branch for the first round of the Miss. Class 6A playoffs on Friday, Nov. 9.  It will be a big time challenge because OBHS is the defending state champions in 6A.  Our kids are excited to have this challenge and are ready to get started preparing tomorrow.  The entire school seems excited since this is our first trip back to the playoffs since '09.

WC Football Update

Season has had a lot of ups and downs, but for the first time since 2009, we are back in the Mississippi Class 6A playoffs.  Our coaching staff and our players have done a tremendous job this season.  Have one regular season game remaining.  Win and we are 3rd in our district and face the number 2 team from region 1.  Lose and we finish 4th and have to go to South Panola (big time team who has been ranked nationally in past years).  Whatever happens, we are excited to have the opportunity to…

Miss. State Strength and Conditioning Clinic

Best clinic I have been to in a long time.  Many thanks to Coach Balis and his staff for a fantastic job.  Great speakers and demos.  Made some great contacts and got some great ideas I can use with my own athletes.  Anyone who lives in the Mississippi area needs to come to this clinic next year.  Well worth your time.

District Powerlifting meet 2/13/12

Very proud of my team and how we did on Saturday.  Had 6 lifters qualify for north state March 3.  We finished 4th overall.  Not the result we wanted, but with only 2 seniors and most the fifteen man roster back next year, I am looking forward to doing some special things with this group.

Chad, thanks for the kind words! We met David Harris at the NSCA conference in Indy - great guy.

We look forward to learning from and giving back to the S&C community on here. See you around!

Great to connect.  This is a great site for learning and networking with others in the field.  Please let me know if I can be of any assistance to you or your athletes.  You can stay connected with me on SPN, or my website www.RonMcKeefery.com or www.StrengthCoachBasicTraining.com.  I am also on most of the Social Media networks.  All the best in 2013.
