Yeah i left DI for the private sector more out of necessity than anything else. Took a pay cut to get back to it but hopefully it'll lead other opportunities. DIII sounds brutal with much discretionary time but we have a challenge with our kids even when they have to be here.
Riverside is nice, it's actually my hometown and I was working in town already when I got this job. I don't know that it is cheap but it's not real expensive and we have a pretty nice place. You just looking to move to a bigger school and that's why you want to leave PLU?
Job search is over for right now. Got the assistant strength job at UC Riverside a few months ago so just settling back into the college ranks. It's tough to get your foot in the door unless you know someone it seems. You still looking for a collegiate job or you thinking private sector as well?
Thanks for add. Things are going okay in California. We're just gearing up for our summer schedule and getting our football kids ready for the fall. How are things your way? Is it just you with 20 teams or do you have some help? I know when I was at Cal Poly there was just 2 of us for 20 teams so it made for busy days.
