The University of Memphis (Student) & The Gym (Personal Trainer)
Personal Trainer & Student
Current Job Description
I'm a personal trainer, and soon to be certified strength and conditioning coach, who enjoys one-on-one and working w/small groups. I am interested in working with sports teams(M & W's soccer, football, golf & tennis). I am a former D1 athlete for tennis, and have experience dancing professionally. Currently, I am pursuing a second bachelor's degree in Exercise Science that I hope will increase my confidence and competence in the field, as well as open new doors in the future.
Past Job Experience
I have worked for both small studios and large commercial gyms. I do a mixture of functional and traditional style of weight training, depending on the client's needs and goals...which can vary from strength coaching to metabolic workouts. I like to use the TRX, Bosu, med balls, battle ropes, anything a little out of the ordinary. I recently got into oly lifting. I am looking to grow my career. I hope to land a GA Strength Coaching position @Lindenwood next year while pursuing an MA in Sports Management.
