- Thanks for the note. We are doing some good things out here in Brady. Finally getting some kids motivated and working hard. We try and get a little crazy in the weightroom. Took me about a year to change the atmosphere. Actually trying to send a kid to play on your FB team, not sure where he is going to go yet though. How's your training going ?
Yes, I am really happy. I went through an NSCA approved program at CNI college here in California. It was a 9 month program that set me up to pass the exam. If you have any questions at all let me know. I will be pursuing my CSCS later this year. What are you currently doing to prepare yourself?
SDSU will be looking for S&C interns for Summer 2011. This would also be unpaid but a great deal of organization and implementation experience, especially with football. I believe we're planning on posting our internship positions here on SPN in the near future so keep an eye out for that. Also our Assistant S&C Coach Brad Schmidt is our intern coordinator so being in contact with him via email and sending him your resume may be a good idea at this point in time. Let me know if there is anything else I can help with.
I will definitely be looking for a couple of interns for the summer here in a couple of months. It would be unpaid, but I definitely would try to make the internship and worthwhile and challenging for you as possible. If you are interested, get back in contact with me in March or April and we'll go from there.
Thanks for your interest in Dixie.
Hi Daniel, we offer unpaid internships every semester. If you are interested send me a resume and which semester you are interested in to firstname.lastname@example.org. I will then have my assistant Frank Wintrich start the interview process with you. Also, check out www.strengthcoachbasictraining.com. It is a product I developed for guys just like you. Take care and good luck!
I see that you are currently playing at Concordia. I played football at Dakota Wesleyan two years ago so I'm sure we crossed paths at some point in there. Concordia is looking like its Exercise Science program is really going places that's awesome. When are you planning on graduating?
