Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach & Internship Coordinator
Current Job Description
Assistant strength and conditioning coach for Olympic sports at ETSU. Primarily responsible for the programming and implementation of the training plan for softball while assisting with the other sports. As of Fall 2014, I am responsible for the strength and conditioning internship program through the Center of Excellence for Sports Science and Coaching Education.
Past Job Experience
In the Summer of 2014 I worked at North Carolina State University as an intern for the Olympic sports strength and conditioning.
Spent 3 years as a Strength and Conditioning intern/volunteer at James Madison University aiding the Head Strength and Conditioning coach and the Assistant S&C coaches with women's and men's soccer, baseball, softball, men's and women's tennis, men's and women's basketball, women's volleyball, and cheerleading. Aiding the staff includes coaching proper lifting technique, spotting and stretching the athletes, facility management/upkeep, etc.
Strength and Conditioning Coach Certified (SCCC) by the Collegiate Strength and Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCa)
Currently attending East Tennessee State University for my Master's degree in Kinesiology; Exercise Physiology and Coaching Performance.
Graduated James Madison University 2013: B.S. in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and a minor in coaching Education
