The University of Vermont Athletic Performance Department is now accepting applications for a fulltime Coaching Assistant position w/ no benefits, for the spring semester of 2016. The selected candidate will begin as soon as possible.  The responsibilities of the candidate will be facility operations as well as assisting with the implementation of training programs of multiple teams.  The position also will also be in charge of running a group fitness class that is run out of the Athletic Performance facility through campus recreation for additional pay, with other in house possibilities to supplement income.  Preferred qualifications include a prior internship in the collegiate setting, a Bachelor’s Degree in an exercise related field and CSCS, SCCC, or USAW certification, as well as CPR certification.  The ideal candidate must be energetic, outgoing and have a great work ethic.  This position will help the candidate gain entry into the field of collegiate strength and conditioning.  This position has a 1 year commitment, with another year contingent on performance during the first year.  Interested individuals please email a resume in addition to three (3) professional references to or
