Own and operate private athletic development training facility in Sarasota, Florida for the past two decades. Work with variety of athlete populations, from club level youth to professional athletes in a variety of strength and power sports.
Also own and operate a sports consulting and management company, RCL SPORTS PERFORMANCE SERVICES, which handles facility management for sport centers, schools and teams as well as educational offerings for coaches, trainers and athletes.
I also serve as Executive Director and Head Coach for a not for profit Olympic Weightlifting club dedicated to the development of drug-free weightlifting among Florida Gulfcoast's youth and young adults.
Past Job Experience
In addition to my business, I have worked at the high school (Booker HS, Venice HS ) and college level( Eckerd College) as a strength and conditioning coach for football, wrestling, soccer and rugby. I have coached Defensive Line and served as the Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at a private Christian School in Lakeland, Florida. I currently am the Head Weightlifting Coach and Football Strength and Conditioning Coach at Manatee High School in Bradenton, Florida. I also teach Physical Education ( Weightlifting ) at the school.
I have coached internationally for USAW from 2002-2008, serving as an official coach at the Jr. Worlds, Pan American Championships, World University Championships, and World Cup ( USA vs AUS). I have also coached my own athletes at the Worlds and Pan Am Games.

WHAT?????? A weightlifter going powerlifting? So how much grief do you get for that from your team? :) Glad you decided to do it raw, though, anything else is just silly.
Sorry to hear about your ACL. I hope it'll heal to the point where you can do as you please with your knee and that you'll be able to lift weights as usual.
Still in Colo. Spgs. and things are going well, keeping busy, etc. I stopped competing between 2003 and 2006, not for any particular reason, just didn't feel like it. But of course continued to train. Then I got into Power Sport (strict curl, bench press, deadlift, all raw) and did quite well, winning two nationals, coming in second at the pro level, and setting a bunch of American Records. Haven't competed since last March and don't see myself doing so again for a while. Again, no particular reason, just don't feel like it. But am still training and having tons of fun with that.
