Coach Kirkland, that particular KB Complex was done as part of the lift and not the warm up. We do not do a ton of KB work, but when I do program KB's they are usually used a high volume tool. High rep sets of Swings, Goblet Squats etc. The Pause Squat is put in from time to time to teach the athlete what a parallel squat or bottom position should feel like. We use it to ensure proper depth of Squats or just to mixed up it. In this case, it was our first Back Squat lift since Xmas Break and I wanted to start the semester off right.
