Hi Scott. To answer your question: We are located in Richfield, WI. My husband and I have been running health clubs for about 4 years...always for another owner though. We came across a gym that was trying to sell. They were going downhill and needed some major work. We decided it would be a good investment for us. The bottom line really comes down to service. If you can provide such a high quality of service, location and all those other things don't matter quite as much. You draw people to you and create that orientation in the community that you are the best around. We are still transitioning but have big plans for the future. Currently remodeling the gym and have a couple platforms that should be in soon! What are your plans for the future? How do you like the University setting?

How are you doing Coach Raymond. Yes I am the new Director here at UTPA. Things are going good. The coaches have bought into my training philosophies and the teams as well. They're a smaller school so obviously i'm fighting the battle of trying to get a new facility budget but of course the funding issue comes up. But all things considered I have no complaints. I was an Asst. at SMU before UTPA and before that Ohio U. Nice talking to you. Good luck going forward.

Scott, I talked to Bob Rhode a while back about the Intern positions. However, i chose to go to Tulsa to work for my buddy Marcus Kenny.
About the Conference...we found out yesterday that we as a staff are going! So, i hope to see you there!

Scott, i work assist with football and train soccer, tennis and cheer. What sports do you train or work with? I talked to you guys a few times in the past about internship and positions but nothing came of it!

Hi Scott-

Yes still DIII. S&C here is a different animal... let's call it organized chaos. I have about 500 athletes, 50% are highly motivated. This is my second year here and the athletes are really getting into it!

Football was 7-2 last year, 3-6 this year... we lost about 45 seniors, and this year we have 52 freshman!

Softball is middle of the pack right now. We just hired a new coach. The athletes love her so far, and she sells what I am doing with her athletes. We'll see what happens>

1) The workload must be sufficient to disrupt biological equilibrium enough to necessitate an adaptation, and 2) recovery must be sufficient to enable the adaptation to occur while avoiding overtraining.
