Internship – Olympic Sports
The North Dakota State University Strength & Conditioning Department is actively seeking interested students to fulfill UNPAID internship positions with our Olympic sports program for summer 2015. Interns will take part in a formal internship curriculum and can expect to gain valuable, hands on experience in areas such as program design, exercise instruction, plyometric, speed and agility techniques, conditioning, facility and athlete management.
Internship responsibilities will vary and will include various duties within the NDSU Strength & Conditioning Department. Hours will vary throughout the summer and may include early morning, late afternoon, or weekend hours.
The quality of the interns experience is directly related to the effort and commitment that is put forth. Student’s who ask questions, get involved and make an effort to go above and beyond will be rewarded with a successful experience.
Requirements:
Graduate or undergraduate students working towards a degree in exercise science or a related field. Must have a strong desire to pursue a career in strength and conditioning.
Previous weight room or athletic experience preferred.
Compensation:
Academic credit only, this is an unpaid internship.
