Probably, the favorite book that I read this past year was The Runner's Body.  A very practical book that applies not just to running, but captures the big picture of training bodies in motion.  Another book that I read and re-read was Talent is Never Enough by John Maxwell.  I've read most of Maxwell's books and this is my favorite.  A great book that is filled with inspiration.  In fact, I think it will be the first book I read this new year.  Lastly, I really enjoyed The Education of a Coach.  This book looks at the development of Coach Bill Belichick.  I found it very interesting and inspiring.

Its not what we know or how much talent we have that keeps us moving forward; rather, its what we do with what we have to the benefit of others that keeps us growing.
