Yes To Strength Belief # 3 states :
The next 1-3 decades holds the possibility of radically improved training methods that has the potential to support radical improvements in strength, speed, power or endurance for the fitness enthusiast, the world class athlete and everyone in between.
On our home page we have written that one of the ways that we will achieve these improved training methods is by “Integration of optimal use of nature (sun, air, earth and foods) with new technologies in testing, training and recovery.”
In last week’s blog post, I wrote about nutrition: Today, the topic is sun and air.
100 years ago, famous strongmen George Hackenschmidt and Arthur Saxon recommended to “train outside as much as possible in as little clothes as possible.” Great book, The Healing Sun, discusses a lot of scientific research that supports that recommendation, including how to reap the benefits of the sun without burning.
