William Penn Charter School (Philadelphia, PA) Internship

The William Penn Charter School is now accepting applications for the position of Strength and Conditioning Intern for Fall 2017 and Spring 2018. Daily responsibilities will include but are not limited to; assisting with supervision and execution of strength training programs for various sports, teaching student athletes proper technique and equipment use, daily operation of our Catapult System, tending to weekly updates on our student LIFE board, daily upkeep of the Blaine Steinberg Center for Fitness and Performance, participation in weekly projects, and professional development throughout the internship program, including visitation to local Strength and Conditioning programs. Intern qualifications include: senior status or completion of a bachelor’s degree, CPR certification, punctuality; enthusiasm; strong work ethic; and strong communication skills.Preferred qualifications include: successful completion of the CSCS test; USA-W coaching credentials; accredited personal training certification. If interested in the position, please send a cover letter and resume to , attention: John Estok, Head Strength and Conditioning Coach, no later than August 13th for the Fall Session, and December 1st for the Fall Semester.
