I love it here! We just got a very large upgrade to our facility here at ISU...it is now the Jared Allen Strength and Conditioning Center per a large donation by ISU Alumni Jared Allen (Minnesota Vikings) Stop by anytime... either myself or Head Coach Mark Campbell will gladly show you around! Thanks for the interest!
Ryan,
We are working on the dvds riht now. I'll let you know when its complete. We had a good turn out, about 180 for our first so we are hoping to make this an annual clinic here at UH.
Congrats on the Royals job dude. You guys come down to Florida? If so I might try to make it down for Spring break. Things are good here man, everything is better when you're winning. Got a big one this weekend!
Got your message... we are mired in a 4-game losing streak right now so need to pick up a "W" this weekend!! Other than that, keeping busy. Basketball season is in full swing right now so they are keeping me on my toes. Love Fort Collins and we are having fun. What are you doing these days?
All is well. Just getting underway with WNBA training camp.
As for as the Cal U program goes, I think its a great program. I actually did it all online and learned so much from while being able do it on my own time while still working full time. Are you thinking about doing the program?
Just keep looking man, something will pop open. I don't think the Wofford one is open yet, but it sounds like it will open soon. The nice thing about that one is the guy doesn't expect anyone to stay, he knows that they can't afford to keep anyone so if you found something else soon afterwards you probably wouldn't be burning any bridges.
My best luck when in between jobs has been volunteering. It sucks because you don't get paid but it helps you get your foot in the door, and strength coaches love seeing people who are willing to work for free because it shows that they have a passion for what they are doing.
Thanks man, it was one hell of a season. Other than that everything is good, just trying to get these guys ready for another run. Baseball is doing well too, 8-1 so far.
How are things with you? How is job hunt going? I heard of a possible opening at Wofford, it's in South Carolina. It's basically an unpaid assistant position, but they house you and feed you. The coach also lets you have time to work when you need to and only expects people to stay for a few months. From what I hear most of the people that take the position land full-time gigs afterwards. Let me know if you are interested.
David lives in Williamsburg. His wife is a soccer coach at w&m. He helps us out a little. W&M is good. You were in Idaho Falls last year? I was there for a couple of months my first year. That's when the stadium was a dump though! I still liked it there a lot. Not sure why, the stadium was a terrible, the hotel was terrible!
Not much happening here. I now live in Norman, Oklahoma with Katy. We have spent the entire off season planning our wedding. We get married on Jan. 31st. I am ready for the season to start back up again. I am going back to AA. Im glad that I get to go back there. It is the perfect setup for me. The ballpark is nice and the trainer and I have the best setup. We have so much space to work with. How is everything with you? I notice that you are up in Washington. Sounds like you are learning a lot and enjoying it. Let me know how everything is going. Delete Comment

The camp ends at or around Feb 14th and will start up when I get home next off-season. Are you developing programs? What teams are you working with? What are you doing comes spring?
Off-season is going well. I have a sports performance camp up and running. I will be in Iowa this season. What type of training are you doing with the baseball team right now? What do you think is the biggest difference between college and pro ball?

Good to see you at the FMS deal. Hope all's well, if we get up around Kent / Auburn when we get back, I'll give you a call.
Haven't really heard too much as far job openings, I saw Army has a position open though.
