Carroll High School - Females Only Strength and Conditioning Physical Education Class

This is an example of our females only strength and conditioning class at Carroll High School. We have athletes and non-athletes training together. You will see a "block day" in which the girls will get their strength training done first and then we will be playing our competition reaction ball game for their conditioning. The class time is about 1 hour and 30 minutes total. Workout directions, format, game rules, are explained throughout the video.

Just curious, You have girls whose ages range from 10th grade to 12th grade, athletes and non athletes, and first time trainees and more seasoned trainees.

Why are they all doing the same exercise? Are there any modifications for the girls who are not as strong? From the very first minute of the video I can tell who the different levels of strengths are. Most boys don't have the strength to do TRX pushups.  


I did like that different resistances of bands were used for the pull ups. And I love the overall fact that your have good participation in a class that most girls might dread doing. 

I am not trying to be rude by making this comment just passionate about seeing our youth become healthier and enjoy doing it!
