Hi Ian,
Our prehab programs are looking to target prevention of non contact injuries to the ankle, knee, hip, shoulder and neck, in all planes at using various types/speed of muscle contraction
The athletes are also screened using static measurements and dynamicaly using on over head squat protocol. From the results we try and strengthen weak muscles and lengthen tight over active muscle to minimise muscle imbalances.
It is quite hard to measure effectiveness with out trying to prove it works i.e. try and injure the guys!!! we can only look at injury rates which have dropped by 90% since I took over a Head of S & C and implemented these types sessions 3 years ago.

when you structure your prevention training what areas of the body are you concerned with? and how do you monitor its effectiveness?
