Got it in some Power Endurance Training this Sunday morning at the park... This was my 8th round and still going strong followed by some Kettlebell throws. Then some single are KB throws and picnic table jumps (video to follow). Head was over the bar! Wifey wanted to film it at this angle! I do various pull-ups, however I chose this modality today. Jumping pull-ups increase the efficiency with which you move your body over a given distance thereby allowing you to perform more work over a given amount of time - your power output is greater and the overall effect is to make the total workout harder. The jumping pull-up also incorporates more muscle groups into the exercise. While this makes it easier to perform more repetitions of the exercise, when performed alone it provides more of a total body workout and adds a plyometric component to the exercise.
