Missouri State University is seeking qualified applicants for a graduate assistantship in the area of Strength and Conditioning.

Responsibilities include but not limited to assisting the Head Strength and Conditioning Coach with training of the Olympic Sport teams, assist with developing and implementing programming for various sport programs, assist with daily administrative and maintenance duties, and assist with set up and break down of equipment before and after workouts. Work with other domains such as athletic training and coaches.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in kinesiology or related field. Must possess a certification of CSCCa, or NSCA. Must be accepted into Missouri State University Graduate school with a 3.0 GPA or higher. Must maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher in the selected area of graduate studies. Knowledge of Division I athletics preferred. Must be willing to work evenings, weekend and holidays when required. Required to work 20 hours per week Candidate must be well organized, attention to detail and have a strong work ethic. Candidate must be able to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing.

Salary: 9 month total stipend of $8,940 plus tuition waiver for graduate courses
