Job Summary:
Assist the Head Strength & Conditioning Coach in developing and implementing strength, speed, agility, and conditioning programs for Football student-athletes and other sports as assigned. Encourage and promote excellence in academics and life-skills to student athletes. Abide by all UNC, ACC and NCAA regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
1 year of experience working with college level student-athletes in strength and conditioning or experience as an intercollegiate student-athlete preferred. Basic computer knowledge is helpful. Demonstrated ability and skill in the implementation of advanced training principles as applied to the development of speed and power. Demonstrated experience and ability to assist in the corrective strategies used in addressing problematic commonalities among football players.Bachelor's degree required. Must hold certification from either USA Weightlifting, the National Strength & Conditioning Association (CSCS), or the College Strength & Conditioning Coaches Association (CSCCA) with the CSCS and CSCCA preferred. Must be certified in First Aid & CPR.
