This spring has been one of the most productive i've had in terms of chemistry, and self discipline; which resulted in good testing numbers.
I beileve, this is best when trying to change the culture of a program that has experienced very little success of late.
Hope this helps.

Under Johnny Long, we were an Olympic-based program that utilized a system developed by Gale Hatch in Louisiana. Now under Mark Smith, we still utilize Olympic lifts just in a slighly different fashion ... mainly in regards to percentages.
As for how I coach, I expect our athletes to work hard but have some fun at the same time. I try not to over-coach and give too much info. I'm not a big "yeller" but will when I deem it necessary to get a group's attention. Being "smaller", I have found that to be more effective than being a "little Napoleon".
Does that answer your question?
In strength,
