Thanks for the request. Hope to talk with you soon on some different training ideas. This field is my passion and training athletes like myself is what I want to do. I will have my CSCS this next year. I currently go to The University of Findlay in Findlay Ohio where I will be playing my last college football game this next Saturday and also finishing school this next month too. Thanks for your time and good luck with your research.
thanks
Enjoyed the material related to your situation and the emphasis you place on protecting the neck. I was involved in a similar situation Always comforting to know that others are attempting to provide sensible training advice. Keep up the good work regarding your research.
Thanks for the article information. Good stuff.
I love the way you emphasize the training of the neck. There are too many injury's that can be prevented with simple exercises. I train our athletes necks at least twice a week and we do neck warmups every practice. I truly believe in it. I have seen a great many a weight room(s) with only one neck station or no equipment to train the neck. Millions of dollars are being spent on state of the art weight facilities. The SAC coaches should try to section off one area of their weight room for head and neck exercises. Good luck with your research and PLEASE keep repeating "Train the neck". Some of us are listening! You should have a t-shirt made up! LOL Have a good one!
