      Jeff,

Great to hear from you.  Things are awesome out here.  We are having a good fall, but obviously super busy.  You still working in chicago?

That's great! For conditioning tests for volleyball, I would do a 300 yd shuttle over a mile run any day...It's more specific to their sport, rather than straight linear running. I work mostly on agility and change of direction with them. I was blessed to walk into a very fit and internally motivated volleyball team, they do cardio on their own all the time so I don't have to worry about endurance running too much with them; they get it in on their own time so I can focus on the other stuff. Hope this helps!

Thanks Jeff I appreciate the encouragement. Track has presented an exciting challenge for me. Between the number of athletes and the athletic potential and abilities of each individual, I am just trying to find effective and challenging ways to engage them each week.
Hope things are going well at St. Mary's. Come back to UDM and visit again soon.
