      Hey Melissa,

It was great meeting you as well, everything is going slow, still looking. How are things going for you up that way?

    • Jason Roe March 10, 2009 at 3:04pm
I teach section of a 200 level course, Exercise Testing and Prescription, whch has lecture and lab. I also teach basic weight training, a 100 level course, that also has lecture and lab. I really enjoy it. At Marquette I work in the Pain Management Laboratory, housed in the Physical Therapy Dept. I have a grant funded research assistant position. The majority of the research we perform is investigating the effect of isometric exercise on pain perception in people with Fibromyalgia. It is definitely outside the realm of my strength and conditioning experience. It has been challenging and rewarding, and I continue to learn more everyday.

Do you work with any teams/sports more than others at Harvard?
    • Jason Roe March 3, 2009 at 2:48pm
      Hi Melissa,
We continue to stay very busy at NX and we continue to have a good mix of athletes of all ages, abilities, and levels of competition. I have also been very busy personally with work at the research lab at MU and teaching at Carroll. What are you specifically pursuing your Master's degree in?
    • Dan Perlmutter February 27, 2009 at 3:01pm
I'll check with our team schedule here and let you know. The semester ends really early for most teams -- their last week of training is the week of April 20th for most people (unless they are in-season and going to the conference or national tournament), so mid-April would probably be best.

Hi Mel -- how's Harvard? Tell Tim to stop ignoring my emails and write a brotha back.
