Mark Peterson is an assistant professor of physical medicine and rehabilitation. His ongoing research is designed to better understand muscle physiology and metabolic health among children and adults with neurodevelopmental disabilities, and to examine the effectiveness of behavioral interventions such as exercise for these populations. He is answering the question “How has the role of strength and conditioning coaches changed the modern athlete”.
